About
My name is Patrick James Johnson. I design websites, graphics, and multimedia. I have been a designer since I was 12-years-old when I created a fan website for my favorite video game at the time: Final Fantasy VII. I was hooked from there. I found my true passion and told myself that I would make the internet a better place one website at a time. At age 14, I landed my first web design job at New Life Initiatives. Unfortunately, the owner didn’t really know what he was doing and the company went under. To this day, he still owes me money. Throughout high school I did a lot of freelance work for companies such as Yescorp and AC Incorporated. Still in high school, I landed my next job at Livemercial. They mainly do web work for As Seen On TV products. Unfortunately, my high school schedule conflicted with my work schedule and I had to leave.
I am currently 21-years-old and a junior at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana majoring in Visual Communication. I work as a Media Designer at SpinWeb Internet Media during the day when I am not in class and I do freelance work for Griffin Marketing every now and then. I am always looking for more freelance work and I aspire to one day own my own web design firm.
