Sample City Chamber of Commerce

Overview

The Sample City Chamber of Commerce website is a SpinWeb site used to demo SpinWeb’s Freedom Product to Chambers of Commerce. There are a total of three SpinWeb demo websites: Sample International, Sample Chamber, and Sample Association.

Logo Design Process

I wanted this logo to have a feel of togetherness and community while using the letters “S” and “C”. I think it could almost be interpreted as an aerial view of part of the city or even the city itself. I adjusted the perspective a little bit and put a reflection on it and it was complete.

Website Design Process

This was the website I had to have designed, spliced up, and built into freedom in 3 days. Yes, I said 3 days. I worked extra hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, but I did it. It was to be demoed on Thursday to the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce so this is why it was on such a time constraint. I wanted to give the site a big city feel, so I used stock images of skyscrapers and business people. However, I also wanted to give the impression that this fake city was a great place for a family so I used some family shots as well.
